Watercolour is a telling medium for someone who does much of her painting in the cockpit of a sailboat. The spontaneous, fluid and immediate nature of both activities are complimentary; planning and skill essential, the process an exploration and the arrival a revelation.
After a long career as a magazine designer and art director in Toronto, Jayne returns to her first and true passion. She has a BA in Fine Art and certificate from the Slade at the University of London, England. Her work is included in corporate, public and private collections and has been exhibited in both Toronto and Victoria.
